Do you accept insurance?+
Yes. Sparrow is in-network with Aetna, and we're actively credentialing with the other major insurance carriers, which we expect to complete over the coming months. If your plan isn't in-network yet, care is available at transparent, upfront self-pay prices with payment due at the time of service, and we'll provide a detailed superbill upon request that you can submit to your insurer for any available out-of-network reimbursement. Lab work can be run through Quest at self-pay pricing.
What does a visit cost?+
Office visits have simple cash rates: $250 for a new patient visit, $225 for your annual well-woman exam, and $150 for follow-up visits. If you're in-network with Aetna, your visit is billed to your plan instead, and personalized estimates are provided before any procedure is scheduled.
What if I bring up a new concern during my annual exam?+
Bring it up — that's what the time is for, and quick questions are simply part of your visit. If a concern turns out to need its own evaluation — new testing or meaningful extra time — Dr. Luciano will tell you before anything is added to your bill. You can choose to address it that day, billed as a $150 problem visit alongside your exam, or schedule a dedicated follow-up. If you're using insurance, a same-day problem is billed to your plan as a separate service, which can mean a copay even when your annual is fully covered.
What happens at a well-woman exam?+
A well-woman exam includes age-appropriate counseling, preventive screenings, and immunization recommendations, along with a comprehensive review of your medical history and a physical exam. You won't feel rushed through your appointment.
Do you perform in-office procedures?+
Yes. The office is equipped for procedures including contraceptive implant insertions and removals, colposcopy with or without biopsy, and endometrial biopsy. For minor gynecologic procedures, Dr. Luciano maintains surgical privileges at a local surgery center, and for major surgery she'll guide you through trusted referrals.
Do you provide prenatal care or deliveries?+
No. While Dr. Luciano is trained in general and high-risk obstetric care, she's now focusing on gynecologic care along with preconception and postpartum wellness, and isn't offering prenatal care or delivery services through Sparrow.
Do you also care for menopause?+
Yes. Dr. Luciano provides dedicated perimenopause and menopause care, including comprehensive consultations and hormone therapy. You can read more on the Menopause & Midlife page.
Do you place and remove IUDs in the office?+
Dr. Luciano performs IUD and contraceptive implant insertions and removals right in the office in Winter Garden, so you won't need to travel for these procedures. Personalized contraception counseling is part of every visit.
Do you treat PMOS (PCOS)?+
Yes. Dr. Luciano evaluates and treats PMOS, also known as PCOS (polycystic ovary syndrome), endometriosis, irregular or heavy periods, and other gynecologic conditions, with the time to actually get to the root of what's going on.
Can I get a well-woman exam or Pap smear without insurance?+
Yes. Your annual well-woman exam and Pap smear are available at transparent self-pay prices, with payment due at the time of service. We'll provide a superbill upon request that you can submit to your insurer for any available out-of-network reimbursement.
What areas do you serve?+
Our office is in Winter Garden, and we care for women throughout Horizon West, Windermere, Ocoee, Clermont, and the greater Orlando area.
